Fair Week is here — and that means parades, cattle drives, live music, food trucks, and a whole lot of community fun. This weekend is stacked with uniquely Castle Rock events that bring our town to life like nothing else.

🐮 Longhorn Cattle Drive + Indigenous Dancers — Friday, July 25
Take a step back in time with Castle Rock’s iconic kickoff to Fair Week. Watch as cowhands from Silverado Ranch drive a herd of Texas Longhorns through Downtown — starting at Rock Park and parading down Perry Street to the Castle Rock Police Department.
🕕 6 PM – 8 PM | 📍 Perry Street, Downtown Castle Rock
🚨 Stay behind the protective barriers for safety!
🎶 The Rocky Mountain Indigenous Dancers will lead the drive with a powerful processional performance, and follow it with more dancing at Festival Park — plus food trucks, photo ops, and family-friendly fun.
🎉 Douglas County Fair Parade — Saturday, July 26 | 9:30 AM
Presented by the Castle Rock Chamber, this parade is a Castle Rock tradition you won’t want to miss. Grab your spot early!

🕤 Parade begins at 9:30 AM sharp
📍 Route: Plum Creek → Wilcox → 4th St → Perry → 2nd St
🍻 Boots & Brews — Saturday, July 26 | 11 AM–4 PM @ Festival Park
Right after the parade, head to Festival Park for live country music, mechanical bull rides, local brews, and mouthwatering food trucks!
